Description
Carved wood pilaster rounded with flutes, a classic form. Any of the Heartwood decorative capitals/blocks can be added to the top.
The standard art is run full length through the bottom of the pilaster
to permit trimming. Alternatively it can be custom sized for length by
selecting the optional bottom detail (one time charge) and indicating
finished length in the customer comments of the order.
You may also REQUEST a custom length / width with bottom and additional uncarved area if preferred. Pilasters have several applications ranging from window and door trim accent to mantel surrounds, stove hoods, headboards and furniture. Scalable to requirements by custom request. Add a corner block or capital to the top for a more ornate installation.
Specifications
Carved wood decorative Pilasters are flat backed in length and width specified. Thickness are as indicated and may be dictated by the scale.
Carved standard in unfinished material in the wood choice selected.
Carving will start at top/or bottom and run continuous in piece. Optionally by request the carving can be made with a terminated ending at a prescribed dimension. (see photos for details).
Paint grade can be any hardwood available at our shop including wood that may be off color. Stain grade is generally uniform color wood usually beech. Please specify any other preference in notes.
Custom requests for alternative sizing are welcome by inquiry but may incur additional fees..
Parts are made to order and lead times are generally 5-10 business days till shipment.
Shipment is from Oregon. Heartwood makes every effort to provide accurate shipping costs and reviews all assigned shipping costs with UPS actuals to check for accuracy of address and rates charged and will notify if a shipping charge needs editing for additional charge or credit.
96" lengths are available by request but incur an additional oversize surcharge
